Socked In

My poor cuz is stuck... socked in... snow bound... but at least she's at home.

[OMG... I just had to run out to the TV. I have PBS on for L, and Clifford is on... I overheard someone on the TV yell what I *thought* was "Kick his ass!" Turns out, they're playing soccer, and they must have said "kick it fast" or something similar. I seriously need to make my coffee!]

Anyway, back to my cuz (read her rendition here she cracks me up!)

She lives in Colorado in the middle of nowhere. Apparently, it's over 100 miles to the nearest Home Depot. I told B this, and he ended up in the fetal position, clutching his Milwaukee drill. Her hubby is "Mr. Plow" (sing it with me, boys and girls...) for the town (haha, 30 miles to "town") as well as water guy, etc. Guess he barely made it home last night in their big, beastly truck. So she's stuck out in B.F. Nowhere with her nearly 4 yr old daughter, who may still be whining about not going to preschool yesterday for their Holiday Party. Cuz is 7 mo. preggers with #2. (Nuf said there!)

So, with any luck, the orders for her pet tags are pouring in, and she's using this time to catch up. I have to get busy upgrading her website. It currently features Italian Charms, but she's gotten totally away from making them. She now focuses on these great metal pet tags/ dog tags. She has a ton of shapes - like bones! How fun would it be for your dog to have a study, long lasting bone shaped tag? And it's not just words - she can print photos, graphics, etc. on these tags.

I've had one on my keychain for nearly a year now, and it's not even scratched.

She's been selling a ton of them on eBay, hoping to build up her biz enough that she can not go back to work after the baby comes. Apparently, daycare is a huge problem out in the middle of nowhere. There are only a few providers and they are all at capacity for infants. (so hint hint... go order stuff from her - you probably need a new tag for your dog anyway...)
