Harry Harry, Sigh... Harry

The countdown in our house has begun. I have my marching orders. Mom, get yourself out of the house early on Friday morning to go wait in line at Borders to get a good, low numbered bracelet. Come home. Work all day. Maybe get a nap. ROFL... Go back to Borders for 10:30pm. This is the latest C will allow, and the earliest I will go. Fight the crowds at the 'party' until they allow us to line up - serpentine around the stacks in the store - awaiting midnight and the release of Deathly Hallows.

We're getting two copies. I am an evil, evil mom. Yes, one is for C. The book will be in her hands from time of purchase Friday/Sat until she leaves for GS camp on Sunday. Wa-hahaha. No HP book at camp. I don't want it to vanish! So then, DH and I won't have to fight over who gets it to read.

It's going to be really hard to read this book. I'm going to want to gulp it down, but I am going to have to force myself to take sips and savor every word. Silly, maybe... We're just huge HP fans. We have British versions of books 1 - 5, as well as the American versions. I've just re-read OOTP (before the movie came out) and HBP so I remember exactly what's going on. Still got teary at the end of HBP. At least this time I wasn't tempted to throw the book across the room.

I'm a little afraid to read the last book. I don't want it to be over. I don't want Harry to die. I don't want Ron or Hermione or Ginny to die. (or Fred or George, or Bill... or Mr or Mrs W... Percy... eh.) Now Snape... he's another post!
