No more snow

Well, the snow is nearly gone, which is a good thing. A lot happened in this little town 'cause of that lovely snow storm. The administration really dropped the ball and had no plan for clearing the streets. While the DPW did send out trucks, and the guys were working, a week after the storms the roads were still barely passable. One lane at best. There was a fire. There was a death. The trucks could not get through traffic - cars had no where to go. Two beat cops made it to the scene and got most of the familes out, but a boy died. No one will ever know if he might have lived if the firemen with the proper gear had gotten there faster. Just glad it's nearly spring!
